Motion to approve December meeting minutes by Craig, second by Jon. Unanimous approval

Scott distributed a priority list for rec dept that each member had put together.~~Some such as a kiosk at Tilton park are part of conservation commission.~~Scott asked the group to Review the list and make up a group one with 1, 3, 5 year goals

One Year
1. Knock down dugouts as they are, don't rebuild until we know what we are going to do with the field.~~ then realign and level the field
2. Veterans field, warrant article
3. Bathroom at Dewey beach
4. Renovate consignment shed at Dewey field
5. Purchase a piece for the skate park

Three Year
1. Develop sledding at ski tow hill down the old ski hills
2. Purchase a piece for the skate park
3. Docks at Dewey beach
4. Toilet at Tilton Park

Five Year
1. develop additional recreational facilities
2. Purchase a piece for the skate park
3. Develop more hiking/biking trails

Scott to get pricing on skateboard park elements and will try to get a ball park estimate for dewey field
~
Discussion for a new meeting time.~~6pm on first Monday at safety services.~~Next meeting will be february 7th @6pm

Discussion of guidelines for receiving gifts.~~

~~Do we want to develop our own policy or revert to the town policy on gifts.~~Scott will check if there is a gift policy from the town.~~
Scott will check with Donna on the need for one from the town.~~

Scott explained that newport and Kearsarge play each other in Sunapee gym due to an odd number of teams in the league and the convenience of Scott supervising the games

Some games run faster than others for a number of reasons including refereeing
~
Skating rink is being well used. Coat hooks and first aid kit will be installed
~
