Sunapee Conservation Commission Minutes Meeting Date September 5, 2012
Present: Van Webb, Robert Hill, Rem Mastin, Tim Fleury, Lela Emery

Map maintenance – a new map will be created by Anita Blakeman to show the new Hebert Welsh trail and the Sawyers Trail. Van will research arrow (signage) for the Hebert Welsh trail for clarity and markings.

Tim Fleury made the motion to approve the Meeting minutes from July 2012. Motion was seconded by Robert Hill. All in favor 5, Opposed 0. SCC did not have an August Meeting.

Replace deck in kind, no cribs work done in water. Rem Mastin signed on behalf of SCC 7/9/12.
NH Forest Society monitoring and review of boundaries show all is ok at the Dewey property and the Bartlett Tyler lot. Trash was noted at the pull off on Jobs Creek Rd (TV)
We need to have the trash removed!

Van attended the Recreation Committee meeting to hear Mt Royal proposal or preliminary plans for Dewey Woods property. There is an easement on the property with restrictions. Dewey Woods property is monitored by the SPNHF. SCC will be kept in the loop.
Wendall Marsh – the project is progressing with legal work, surveys. Penny Royal Hill Surveyors will do the surveying of the property. Tim Fluery made the motion to commit $180,000 (One Hundred and Eighty Thousand Dollars) to the Wendall Marsh Conservation project to support LCHIP application. Funds will come from the Conservation Commission Fund. There is no impact on the taxpayer for this motion. Rem Mastin Seconded the motion. All in Favor 5, Opposed 0

SCC members have received positive feedback regarding the possibility of selling the Gore Lot in order to raise capital. No action will be taken on the Gore Lot at this time.
