The Sturbridge Historical Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at 6:30 PM in the Town Hall – Veteran’s Memorial Hall located at 308 Main Street, Sturbridge.
The Publick House has requested approval to demolish the barn at 283 Main Street, Sturbridge to construct a new wood frame building to provide additional accommodations for the Publick House. The Sturbridge Historical Commission has determined that this is a significant building as defined in Section 2.31 of the Demolition Delay Bylaw.
The purpose of this Public Hearing is to determine if the significant building located at 283 Main Street – Publick House Barn is preferably preserved as defined in the Demolition Delay Bylaw.
