The Town of Sturbridge, by and through the Sturbridge Historical Commission, is seeking proposals from qualified historic preservation consultants to undertake the “Sturbridge Community-wide Historic Properties Survey Update Phase ll.” Proposals must be received at the Office of the Town Administrator, Sturbridge Town Hall, 308 Main Street, Sturbridge, Massachusetts 01566, on or before 10:00 am, Friday, August 25, 2017.

The Town of Sturbridge reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any informalities in the Proposal process, if deemed in the Town’s best interest.

The Request for Proposals (RFP), containing scope of work, proposal requirements, and evaluation criteria, will be/is available upon request after 10:00 am, Thursday, July 20, 2017 at the Office of the Town Administrator, Sturbridge Town Hall, 308 Main Street, Sturbridge, Massachusetts 01566 or by contacting  the Town Administrator  by e-mail or telephone at lgaumond@town.Sturbridge.ma.us or 508-347-2500 X2.

Proposers must meet the following minimum qualifications: a Bachelor’s degree in Historic Preservation, Architectural History, History, Art History, or a closely related field, plus at least two years full_time experience in an area relevant to the project; or a Master’s degree in any of the above_mentioned areas.
