FY 2017 Sturbridge Regional Community Development Fund Application

The Sturbridge Board of Selectmen, on behalf of the towns of Sturbridge, North Brookfield, and Brookfield will conduct a Public Hearing on February 21, 2017 at 6:35 PM at Veteran’s Memorial Hall in Town Hall, 308 Main Street to discuss the proposed FY17 Sturbridge Regional Community Development Fund Application.  The application will be filed no later than March 10, 2017.  The Pioneer Valley Planning Commission (PVPC) is assisting the town with this application.

The residents of all towns are encouraged to attend this meeting to discuss the regional FY17 application to the MA Department of Housing and Community Development for up to $1,300,000 in available Community Development Block Grant Funds.  All persons with questions or comments regarding the grant application will have an opportunity to be heard.  Those unable to attend can send written comments to the Sturbridge Board of Selectmen, Town Hall – 308 Main Street, Sturbridge, MA 01566, Attn: Leon Gaumond, Jr; Town Administrator.

Projects currently being discussed include the Housing Rehabilitation Program and the Aging in Place Housing Program.

The Sturbridge Town Hall is handicapped accessible.
