Sturbridge Police to Offer Basic Firearms Safety Class
The Sturbridge Police Department will be holding a Basic Firearms Safety Course on
Saturday, March 18th, 2017, from 10A.M. until 2P.M. at the Sturbridge Public Safety
Complex.

This safety course will be taught by a licensed and certified instructor and will satisfy
Massachusetts’ safety certification requirements for both Class ‘A’ licenses to carry and
firearms identification cards.

The class will cover topics such as handgun identification, safe handling procedures,
residential/home safety and security, concealed carry, vehicle transportation, Mass Laws
as well as cleaning and maintenance.

Seating will be limited to 15 attendees and preference will be given to Sturbridge
residents. This class is free of charge
