Sturbridge Town Administrator Leon Gaumond and Economic Development and Tourism Coordinator Kevin Filchak are announcing the start of Sturbridge Business Tours. This program will have Town Staff visiting local businesses, learning what they do and beginning a dialogue with businesses in Sturbridge.
The Town is interested in speaking with the business community to hear their input on things that the Town is doing well to promote business, and what the Town could do better. This year the Town is trying a number of new approaches to economic development and tourism promotion. The Town wants to hear business owner’s honest opinions on those programs and to hear their suggestions for future projects.
Ultimately the Town would like to visit with all of the businesses here in Sturbridge. We encourage all owners and managers to participate in the Sturbridge Business Tours program. If there are specific questions or issues facing your business, the Town will try and bring the appropriate staff along who could address those questions.
These businesses tours are coordinated by the Economic Development and Tourism Coordinator and may include other members of the Sturbridge staff as needed and if requested.
