The Town of Sturbridge is seeking volunteers to serve on the town's Design Review Committee.
The Design Review Committee (DRC) is charged with reviewing the design of any construction or renovation project that impacts the façade of a non-residential building and all signs within non-residential zoning districts, and making recommendations on their designs to the Director of Inspections and/or the Planning Board as appropriate. A goal of the DRC is to conduct the reviews and provide recommendations in a manner so as to balance commercial development interests with a preservation of community character and identity.
The DRC currently meets twice per month or as may be required based upon application submittals. The current meeting day and time is Wednesday at 1:30 pm.
