On 8/22/16 the Board of Selectmen met with officials from Central Mass. Regional Planning Commission to review a recent study they prepared examing our road infrastructure here is Sturbridge.
They looked as surface conditions, rideability and smoothness of the roads, visible defects and evidence of road failures.
The good news is that the roads and sidewalks in Sturbridge are very good on average.
The Selectmen and I will be reviewing this report moving forward to determine strategies to maximize the use of our road improvement budget - getting the most bang for our bucks so to speak.
