Please join the Sturbridge Trails Comm members Along with Volunteers of the Burgess PTO on National Trails Day Saturday June 4th as we work to complete the Burgess Elementary School Nature Trail. The Trail is located behind Burgess Elementary school, with access from the lower ball field. We will be working from 8am until 3pm. Pizza and drinks will be served around 12noon.
The trail designed to be fully compliant with Federal accessibility rules and as a great outdoor resource and classroom for all students at Burgess.
We hope to make great headway in completing The Trail, so it can be open for public use by the start of the 2016-2017 school year. Please bring a wheelbarrow, wear work boots, work gloves and long pants.
