Below is a message from Cheryl Bardoe from the Connecticut Science Center.
We are seeking debris from the 2011 tornado for an exhibit display . Attached is a sketch of the sculptural display we are designing. We would love to have actual tornado artifacts from a local weather event embedded in the wind "swirl". We are trying to make a concrete image for visitors of the power of these storms, so seeing a chunk of a radiator, or a piece of clock tower, or any such item "flying" around would be very dramatic. This would be a permanent exhibit. In appreciation of the donation, we can send people tickets to the CTSC, and we would recognize them on the plaque connected with the display.
