The Sturbridge Tourist Association (STA) has announced the re launch of the Visit Sturbridge website. This website, the official Town of Sturbridge website to promote tourism has been completely reactivated and the community calendar is now up and running. STA members Tom Chamberland, Jim Leaming and Kristie Galonek have been working over the past 4 months to update and relaunch the website.
Merchants & Businesses who would like to be listed are welcome to submit their information and indicate the appropriate category of Shop, Eat, Stay, Play and Services. Previously listed businesses are still listed on the site and are encouraged to check their listing for accuracy.
Businesses, residents, and community groups are now welcomed to submit their events and promotions for posting to the events calendar. The STA’s email, sturbridgetourism@gmail.com is also active and monitored for any calendar submissions, business listings or questions on the activities of the STA.
The STA is funded thru the hotel & motel tax and promotes and supports tourist related activities projects and promotions in the Town of Sturbridge. Check out their website at http://www.visitsturbridge.org/
