Sturbridge Town Administrator Leon A. Gaumond Jr. has announced that he will begin a Sturbridge Business Tour. The Tours are expected to begin this Fall and continue as long as there is interest in the program.
“As the new Town Administrator I have had an opportunity to meet many great citizens in Sturbridge," said Town Administrator Gaumond. “However one of my personal goals is to also make some inroads into the business community as well. In the past I have utilized business tours as a way for the business community to be able to provide input, sometimes on an individual basis, on things that the Town does well to promote business and things that the Town could do better. These tours will serve as an opportunity for the local businesses to speak with Town officials as well as give the town officials an opportunity to learn about the strong business community here in Sturbridge,” Gaumond continued.
These business tours are coordinated by the Town Administrator and may include other members of the Sturbridge staff as needed. Tours can be coordinated to meet the schedule of the local business.
