Burgess School Nature Trail event
The Sturbridge Community is asked to come together in an "Old Fashioned Barn raising" day event to help build the Burgess School Nature trail.  The event is Saturday, June 6th from 8 am to 2 PM at Burgess school.


We are hoping for some 80 to 100 people, broken down into 4 teams of  4 to 5 crews of 5 - 8 people, each crew to "build" a 10' section of trail. Team leadership will be provided by members of the Sturbridge Trail Comm, and Sturbridge Boy Scout Ben Ouelette, who, for his Eagle Service Project, is responsible for building a 250' section of the trail.


National Trails Day is the nation's largest volunteer trail day program. Our event is an officially registered event.  See link: http://www.nationaltrailsday.org/
