MINUTES
BOARD OF SELECTMEN
OPEN SESSION
October 19, 2005
Present at the meeting that was held at the Stow Town Building were Selectmen Stephen Dungan, Carole Makary, and Janet Wheeler.
Also present were Town Administrator William Wrigley and Administrative Assistant Susan Flint Hosier. Chairman Edward Perry and Selectman John Clayton were absent.
Acting Chairman Wheeler called the meeting to order at 7:23 p.m. and, with the Board’s agreement, invited Bob Wilber, Chairman of the Community Preservation and Open Space committees, and Kathy Sferra, Chairman of the Conservation Commission, to join the Board in Executive Session.
Executive Session
At 7:25 p.m., the Board then convened in Executive Session for the purpose of discussing the Purchase and Sale document for the Cushing property, as provided by MGL Chapter 39, Section 23B (3). Ms. Makary moved Mr. Dungan seconded, and all voted by roll call to adjourn from Open Session and enter Executive Session.
The Board returned to Open Session at 8:57 p.m.
Following a brief discussion of the Town Meeting presentation for Article 2, Purchase of the Cushing property, the Board adjourned at 9:05 p.m., on a motion by Mr. Dungan, seconded by Ms. Wheeler, with all in favor.
