Minutes of the November 17, 2009 Local Access Channel Advisory Committee meeting.

The meeting was called to order at 6:31 PM at the Stow Town Building.
Dungan moved and Glorioso seconded to approve hiring Kathy O’Keefe and Michele Crosby at 6 hours/week each, to share the two positions of Assistant Coordinator. It was unanimously approved. The jobs were originally approved at the October 13, 2009 LACAC meeting, but had since been reposted.
Glorioso moved and Dungan seconded to accept and approve the updated Assistant Coordinator job description. It was unanimously approved.
Dungan moved and Glorioso seconded to approve the minutes of the October 13 meeting. It was unanimously approved.
A Stow resident has taken a segment of a Selectmen meeting from Stow TV’s cablecast, and posted it on the You Tube web site. This resident had asked whether Stow TV had any policy concerning this action. VanTine reported that she had consulted with Video Attorney Bill August, who concluded that the material is in the public domain and therefore usable. Glorioso affirms that putting a copyright on the video is all that is needed to require the material is used only with permission. VanTine indicated that she would consult further on the topic with Attorney Bill August.
Dungan moved and Glorioso seconded adjourning the meeting. . It was unanimously approved.
The meeting adjourned at 6:47 PM.
