Fred Dodge, Chairman of the Cemetery Committee, and G.H. Gledhill presented a status of the Stone Wall project at the Lower Village cemetery:

They went with the flow of the land, which looks natural and was probably as intended when the wall was originally built and completed 100 years ago. The “new” stone that was used was covered in moss and matched the existing stones. In the future, we may consider finishing the work on Pompositticut Road, but the work done was well invested.

A meeting was held with various town representatives and state agencies.

The urban self-help grant would go into the CPA trust. If CPC funds are used on the back 6 acres, we would have to dedicate the use to open space, affordable housing or historic preservation. It removes the flexibility that the Town would have.

out to the housing people to discuss further.
