Meeting Minutes
General Bylaw Review Committee
February 3, 2005
Members Present: Jack Clayton, George Cormier, Kathleen Pavelchek,
Deb Woods, and Linda Hathaway
Meeting called to order at 7:05 pm
The committee reviewed the process it will take to review the bylaws and bring amendments, if any, to a special town meeting in 2006. The committee members are tasked with reading both the bylaws and the Town Charter prior to the next meeting on March 24th. At that time each member will report on the areas that he/she found which may need amending. The committee is aware of the Charter Review Committee and its work on Charter amendments. Both committees need to be aware of what the other is working on.
This committee will send out a letter to all departments, boards and committees to advise them to begin their own review and that we will be contacting them for their input.
Meeting adjourned at 8:30 p.m.
