WATER POLLUTION CONTROL AUTHORITY
TOWN OF STONINGTON
Regular Meeting – August 23, 2005
A Regular Meeting of the Water Pollution Control Authority was held August 23, 2005, at the Stonington Police Station Meeting Room.
Members in attendance: James Sisk, Chairman; Marc Ginsberg, Vice Chairman; and James Petrosky, Member. Also present: Harold Storrs, Director
Member Absent: Lynn Young
Vacancy: Member and Secretary, Daniel O’Connor, chose to not be reappointed upon expiration of his term on July 31, 2005.

By consensus, the Authority instructed Mr. Storrs to arrange a workshop meeting regarding a water quality study of Stonington Harbor at which time the DEP would identify study parameters to accomplish the 4 objectives identified in William Hogan’s [Engineer of WPCF, DEP] letter of August 9, 2005.

M. Ginsberg moved that the WPCA not pay for the cost of establishing the value of the wastewater systems to satisfy the Town’s auditors even though it may be of value to the Town as a whole. J. Petrosky seconded. Motion carried 3-0.

9. Minutes – July 28, 2005
“6” [to make it read July 6, 2005] was added to the motion by D. O’Connor, item 3 Wastewater Facilities Plan. M. Ginsberg moved to accept the minutes as amended. J. Petrosky seconded. Motion carried 3-0.
