The Board of Finance held a special joint meeting with the Water Pollution Control Authority on this date at the Police Department meeting room. Members present were Glenn Frishman, Chairman; Andrew Rines, Secretary; Dudley Wheeler; John O’Brien and Kevin Burns. Also present Maryanna Stevens, Director of Finance. Bryan Bentz was absent.
Mr. Frishman called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.
Mr. James Sisk, Chairman called the WPCA meeting to order.
Discussion ensued regarding the new process for the PILOT program for Waste Treatment.
Presentation by Charles Hamlin of Cambridge Water Technology on the Biomag process. This process will increase the ability to clean waste by 2 to 3 times without increasing the tank size. If the process does not work, the Town will be refunded.
Consensus that the Board of Finance will reimburse the WPCA in January.
There being no further business to come before the Board, Mr. Rines made a motion to adjourn. Mr. Wheeler seconded the motion and the meeting was unanimously adjourned at 6:28 p.m.
