Meeting Agenda
1. Welcome and Introductions (6:00 pm)
2. Power Point Presentation: Visioning Process (6:00 pm – 6:30 pm)
3. Subcommittees work in groups on the draft town vision (6:30 pm – 7:30 pm)
Each Subcommittee will assign a note taker and a reporting person. A laptop will be used for drafting a vision statement. The group can use the current Comp Plan vision statement, drafts from the Comp Plan Update Committee members, or examples from other municipalities. Each Subcommittee is expected to develop one vision statement with the focus on the area specific to the group:
Ø The Natural Environment
Ø The Built Environment
Ø Economic and Community Environment
Ø Regional Environment
4. Subcommittees submit their draft vision statements to GPCOG and outline major points (7:30 pm – 8:00 pm)
