Correction to the last meeting minutes:
The Law Enforcement motion was made and seconded to Accept as Presented with no recommendations. The vote was 6 – 0 instead of 4 – 0 as previously reported.
Budget Review of Departments:
The following departments were reviewed and accepted at the previous meeting:

It was noted there appears to be over budgeting trending in this account over the past few years.

It was noted the Town Council recommended the Leavitt’s Mill Free Health Center donation should be $1,200. We corrected this on page 192 of our budget page.

Employee Benefits
Motion made and seconded to reduce Employee Uniforms by $1,000 – 5 – 1.

Recommendations from this meeting:
Recommend the Town survey other sources for the cost of Worker’s Compensation. It was noted the Town of Gorham recently changed from the MMA Group Worker’s Compensation and received a sizable reduction in costs.
Recommend the Town of Standish give consideration to Employees participation in cost-sharing for the Group Insurance premiums. Most private businesses and increasing numbers of municipalities are passing a portion of this cost to the employees.
