Standish Budget Committee
Monday April 7, 2014
The meeting of the Standish Budget Committee was called to order at 6:10 pm.
Attendance - Carolyn Brown, Jane Cirone, Martha Hurd-Call, Katherine Post, Ronald Richardson, and Walter Wasson - all present
Chairperson Jane Cirone indicated she received some revised numbers from the Town Manager concerning the Employee Benefits section. Those numbers will decrease in order to be compliant with the Affordable Health Care Act. The Committee was in favor of this change.
Information related to EMS/Services revenue was received from the Town Manager indicating the Council would like to add $10,000 to that line. The Committee was in favor of this change.
The Budget Committee members assisted the Chairperson in the preparation of the final report which will be presented to the Town Council tomorrow evening. Non-monetary recommendations were reviewed and approved.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:02 pm.
