The following are motions made during the October 13, 2011 Public Hearing/Special Meeting.
Public Hearing
Chairperson Wagner called the public hearing to order at 7:33 PM
The recording secretary read the legal notice into the record as it was published in the Journal Inquirer on Saturday, October 1, 2011 and Saturday, October 8, 2011.
Appl. 2755-11 – Robert H. Arnesen – request for a 9 foot variance to Table 3.1.2A to allow the construction of a storage shed 11 feet from side property line (20' required) on property located at 25 Norman Drive, AA-30 zone.
Mr. Arnesen reviewed the pertinent information from his application in requesting the variance: placement of the shed is due to the terrain, the location of an easement on the property, the location of the septic system leach field, and the wooded area at the rear of the property. Mr. Arnesen stated that his neighbors have no problem with the placement of the shed and that many of them have the same type of Kloter Farms shed. The shed will also act as a buffer. Mr. Arnesen showed the Commissioners a plan of the property including the placement of the shed that he had prepared.
After a brief discussion, with few questions or clarification needed, the Commissioners were satisfied with the information provided.
Chairperson Wagner closed the public hearing at 7:45 pm
ITEM: Deliberative Session

Minimal additional discussion was generated by the Commissioners.
Motion to: approve Appl. 2755-11 – Robert H. Arnesen – request for a 9 foot variance to Table 3.1.2A to allow the construction of a storage shed 11 feet from side property line (20' required) on property located at 25 Norman Drive, AA-30 zone, as shown on the plans submitted.
The Board concluded the hardship to be the sloping topography of the rear yard, the location of the septic system leach field and the wooded area at the rear of the property.
The Board felt that there would be minimal impact on the neighborhood with the placement of the shed as proposed.

Regular Meeting
ITEM: Minutes
Approval of the minutes of September 1, 2011 was deferred until the next meeting on November 3, 2011 due to a lack of a majority of Commissioners attending the September meeting.
