CALL TO ORDER: 7:30 pm
APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Minutes from 5/21/2013 were approved by consensus.
BUSINESS:
- Betty Warren will speak with Open Space Task Force (OSTF) about their mission statement and the Purchase of Development Rights as a valuable tool to achieve their goals. Also, regarding what are the ways SWALPAC and OSTF can jointly work to promote South Windsor preservation efforts.
- Betty Warren and Joe Kennedy will speak with the Mayor to discuss South Windsor applying for the State Community Farms Preservation Program and other topics appropriate for SWALPAC and will assist as requested.
- SWALPAC remains supportive of the efforts of the Food Alliance toward their proposed use of the Priest Farm.
ELECTION OF OFFICERS:
- Joseph Kennedy was elected Chairperson and Elizabeth Warren was elected Vice Chairperson.
ADMINISTRATION:
- The 2014 Meetings Calendar was distributed to the members.
