CALL TO ORDER: 7:40 pm
APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Minutes from 1/19/2010 approved by consensus.
OLD BUSINESS:
- Report on Status of Pending Property Purchases – The Town Council has declined to purchase the Jurgelas property. The matter of the Nelson property is still pending - there is some concern with the shed on the property. There was discussion regarding the Hartford Audubon property on Niederwerfer Road. The Hartford Audubon approached the South Windsor Conservation Land Trust, who contacted the Open Space Task Force – discussion is on-going.
OTHER BUSINESS:
- Chairperson Warren raised the issue of holding a seminar for landowners regarding ways to preserve their land. The consensus was that this might be good to do in the fall.
- The South Windsor Historical Society will be holding a farmer’s market at Union School.
