Chairman Pat Botteron called the meeting to order at 5:28 pm.
PUBLIC PARTICIPATION:
None
ACCEPTANCE OF MINUTES:
Minutes of the June meeting were accepted.
NEW BUSINESS:
Marcia Banach handed out the new Master Plan which the task force had been working on for over a year. This was Marcia’s last meeting as Director of Planning and Pat Botteron presented her with several plaques and testimonial to all her hard work for the task force.
Pat Botteron spoke about the passing of Jim Snow and we discussed how we could memorialize him. We spoke about a tree in his honor to be done at a later date. Pat also reminded us that she has money for a donation and we could add to it.
OLD BUSINESS:
Pat Botteron reported on the status of the Nelson property. She had spoken to the Town Manager and the discussions were still ongoing. The Neiderwerfer property was still under discussion as to what would be the actual proposal from the Audubon Society. We will table any letter to the Town Council.
OTHER BUSINESS
Our next meeting will be Aug. 2nd. Pat will contact everyone because most of the task force felt there was no need for a meeting in August since most of the town’s boards & commissions along with the council usually take August off.
