·       January 8, 2007 minutes were unanimously accepted.

·       The Open Space Master Plan has been updated.  Final review by members will be done before copies are distributed to Council, Library and various Town Offices.

·       New subdivision plans for Kilkenny Heights Subdivision, Barber Hill Rd., will be submitted by the builder (Mannarino Construction) to Planning and Zoning for approval.  The Task Force will review the revised open space, rate it and submit their findings to the Council.  This will likely take place at the March Open Space meeting.

·       Normen reported on findings regarding taxation of golf courses in the state of Connecticut.  Local regulations determine how these courses are taxed.  Golf courses in South Windsor have an open space status so are taxed at a lower rate.  The tees and greens are taxed differently.

·       Gantick noted that the Priest property farmhouse has been completely vacated by the Priest estate, and the house is completely disconnected from all utilities. The house itself is in extremely poor condition and will probably need to be demolished. There is a silo behind the house that is in relatively good shape and can hopefully be preserved.

Next scheduled meeting will be March 5, 2007.
