MINUTES REGULAR MEETING
CAUCUS ROOM TOWN HALL June 2, 2015

CALL MEETING TO ORDER
Chairperson Macro called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. and appointed Louise Evans to sit for the vacant position.
PUBLIC PARTICIPATION
Mike Gantick, Director of Public Works
APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETINGS
A motion to approve the minutes of the Regular Meeting of April 7, 2015 was made by Louise Evans, seconded by Walter FitzPatrick. The motion carried unanimously.
A motion to approve the minutes of the Public Hearing of April 7, 2015 was made by Louise Evans, seconded by Walter FitzPatrick. The motion carried unanimously.
NEW BUSINESS
- Motion by Commissioner Pitcock to postpone the public hearing until 7:30 pm, second by Commissioner Evans. The motion was passed unanimously. The meeting was recessed from 7:40 pm to 8:20 pm.
- Mr. DiModugno will be asked to modify the fence to be more open and to attend the next meeting.
3) HDC finds the painted metal guiderail similar to that at Stoughton Brook acceptable for the Main Street culvert repair.
OLD BUSINESS
- The contractor for HRI Phase IIIb cannot recover the electronic files. HDC will push for an alternate plan, such as re-doing the forms.
ADMINISTRATION
- Commissioner Pitcock distributed a letter from East Hartford Historic District to residents of Long Hill Street to determine their interest in a joint district with South Windsor. This will be discussed at a future meeting.
ADJOURNMENT
A motion to adjourn was made at 9:00 pm by Commissioner FitzPatrick, seconded by Commissioner McKinney and approved unanimously.
