MINUTES REGULAR MEETING
MADDEN ROOM TOWN HALL February 3, 2015

CALL MEETING TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order at 7:30 pm and Louise Evans was appointed to sit for the vacant Republican commissioner position.
PUBLIC PARTICIPATION - None
APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETINGS
A motion to approve the minutes of the Regular Meeting of January 6, 2015 was made by Commissioner Pitcock, seconded by Commissioner Jeski. The motion carried unanimously.
NEW BUSINESS
Commissioners discussed issues related to the Schweir property and the comment letter drafted by the HDC Chairperson. Comments regarding focus on noise and Schweir property will be incorporated and circulated for additional input.
OLD BUSINESS - None
ADMINISTRATION
- Chairperson Macro announced that Andy Paterna is the liaison from the Town Council to HDC.
- Chairperson announced that Park and Recreation is interested in placing benches painted by local artists throughout town, with the first one in a historic location. Members are requested to think about a location.
- Chairperson reported that a letter was received regarding the demolition of 135 Sullivan Avenue as part of the distribution center development. It was agreed that since the property is included in the Historic Resources Inventory, a delay should be requested for further investigation.
- Chairperson requested a member volunteer to represent HDC on the Demolition Delay Committee.
ADJOURNMENT
A motion to adjourn was made at 8:02 pm by Commissioner Jeski, seconded by Commissioner Evans and approved unanimously.
