CALL MEETING TO ORDER
Chairperson Macro called the meeting to order at 7:40 PM. Both Alternated, Jean Klein and Paul Oates were appointed full members of the Commission for this meeting.

PUBLIC PARTICIPATION
None
APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING
A motion to approve the minutes of the Regular meeting on March 4, 2008, was made by Gary Pitcock, seconded by Virginia Macro. The motion carried unanimously.
NEW BUSINESS
Chair Macro described a project for barn restoration at 99 Main Street for the purpose of establishing a farm activity center for handicapped individuals. Greg Farmer suggested it would be helpful if the owner's grant application to the CT Trust for Historic Preservation had a letter of support from the South Windsor Historic District Commission. Gary Pitcock moved and Jean Klein seconded a motion to send a letter from the Commission endorsing the renovation project. The motion carried unanimously.
OLD BUSINESS
Exterior changes requiring an application for a Certificate of Appropriateness, as listed in the new Handbook for the Historic District, were reviewed by the Commission. Jean Klein moved, seconded by Gary Pitcock, to approve the list as presented. The motion carried unanimously.

A motion to adjourn was made at 9:15 PM by Paul Oates, seconded by Jean Klein and approved unanimously.
