APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETINGS
A motion to approve the minutes of the Regular Meeting of October 2, 2012 was made by Gary Pitcock, seconded by Virginia Macro. The motion carried unanimously.

NEW BUSINESS
  • Shawn Jacobaccio presented samples of wooden Marvin windows he wants to use to replace four windows on the second floor (two on the north side and two on the south side) of the rear addition of 1712 Main Street. The windows will be custom made and will match the existing windows in size and scale and will use muntins the same dimensions as the existing windows. The Commission requested that he apply for a COA at the next meeting of the Commission.
  • Tom Wholley of 1533 Main Street presented preliminary drawings of renovations to the existing sunroom and rear addition of his house. The main elements involved a chimney in the rear addition and windows in the sunroom and the south elevation of the addition. Concerns were expressed on the arrangement and size of the proposed windows and Mr. Wholley said he would ask his architect to provide new drawings reflecting proposed changes. He will apply for a COA at the next meeting.
OLD BUSINESS
  • Chairman Macro reported that members of the Demolition Delay Committee had been approved at the December 3rd meeting of the Town Council. They are: Walter FitzPatrick, Peter Jennings, Wayne McKinney, Art Utay and Viney Wilson.
  • Phase IIIa of the Historic Resources Inventory is complete and the Chair will have to apply for an additional grant for approximately 50 properties to complete Phase IIIb. This will complete the Inventory of the town.
ADMINISTRATION
  • Commissioners reviewed the meeting schedule for 2013 and asked for one change for the February meeting, changing the date to the 12th (if the Town Hall will be open).
  • Regarding the letters sent to Historic District residents, there has been no reply from the D’Aiellos regarding the missing window dividers at 1648 Main Street. The Chair will write another letter before referring the matter to the Zoning Enforcement Agent.
ADJOURNMENT
A motion to adjourn was made at 9:00 pm by Caroline Taylor, seconded by Gary Pitcock and approved unanimously.

Respectfully submitted,

Donna Thompson
