CALL MEETING TO ORDER
Chairperson Macro called the meeting to order at 8:00 pm
ROLL CALL
Members present: Chairperson Macro, Commissioner FitzPatrick, Commissioner Pitcock, Commissioner Jennings
Members absent: Commissioner Klein
Alternates present: Commissioner Evans, Commissioner Foley, Commissioner Taylor
Alternates absent: none
Chairperson Macro appointed Commissioner Taylor to sit for Commissioner Klein.
PUBLIC PARTICIPATION
None
APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
Motion by Commissioner Pitcock, seconded by Commissioner Jennings to approve the minutes of the Regular Meeting held on May 4, 2010 and the minutes of the Public Hearing held on May 4, 2010. The motion carried unanimously.
NEW BUSINESS:
- Motion to approve the COA application submitted by Candida Ryan for raising the roofline of the east side (rear) of 1554 Main Street was made by Commissioner Jennings and seconded by Commissioner FitzPatrick. The motion was approved unanimously.
- Motion to approve the front door, garage doors, cupola, all windows, gutters, leads, facia boards for Gregory Neary on 1576 Main Street and to deny approval without prejudice for the railings was made by Commissioner Jennings and seconded by Commissioner Taylor. The motion was approved unanimously. Additional information is needed regarding the railings.
OLD BUSINESS
- Reviewed and discussed the revised drawings of the roofline and other details requested for screen porch on rear of house at 1712 Main Street – Lorraine Jones. This COA has already been approved.
ADMINISTRATION:
- Chairperson Macro submitted an Application for Determination of Jurisdiction for replacement in kind of a side porch and railing, plus replacement of a wood hatch with a metal hatch cover. In order to not raise issues of impropriety, HDC Commissioners requested that a formal COA be submitted.
- Chairperson Macro distributed approximately fifty (50) copies of Draft Historic Resource Forms to 4 Commissioners for review and comment, as well as verification of addresses and photos.
- Demolition Delay Ordinance is scheduled for Town Council discussion of June 21, 2010.
ADJOURNMENT
Commissioner FitzPatrick moved to adjourn the meeting at 9:18 pm; seconded by Commissioner Jennings. The motion carried unanimously.
