CALL MEETING TO ORDER
Chairperson Macro called the meeting to order at 7:36 pm
ROLL CALL
Members present: Chairperson Macro, Commissioner Jennings, Commissioner FitzPatrick, Commissioner Pitcock
Members absent: Commissioner Klein
Alternates present: Commissioner Foley, Commissioner Evans (arrived late)
Alternates absent: Commissioner Taylor
Chairperson Macro appointed Commissioner Foley to sit for Commissioner Klein.
PUBLIC PARTICIPATION
None
APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
Motion by Commissioner Jennings, seconded by Commissioner FitzPatrick to approve the minutes of the Regular Meeting held on April 6, 2010 and the minutes of the Public Hearing held on April 6, 2010. The motion carried unanimously.
NEW BUSINESS:
- Reviewed preliminary COA application from Candida Ryan to determine additional information required for review and approval.
- Motion to approve the COA application as submitted by James and Johanna Perkins was made by Commissioner Jennings and seconded by Commissioner Pitcock. The motion was approved unanimously.
OLD BUSINESS
- Motion made by Commissioner FitzPatrick to approve the COA plans submitted by Mr. and Mrs. D’Aiello, with the following conditions: that the garage door details be submitted and that asphalt shingles be used, per the 9/25/2009 application for COA and HDC letter dated 2/4/2010. Motion seconded by Commissioner Jennings and approved unanimously. Chairperson Macro will address roofing material, size of outdoor lights, crown moulding and garage doors in letter to the D’Aiello’s.
ADMINISTRATION:
- HDC has received phone calls regarding potential changes to style of front door and windows at 1576 Main Street by new owners, Mr. and Mrs. Gregory Neary. Chairperson Macro will send a letter and request a COA application be submitted.
- Mr. James Sexton reported that draft forms for the Historic Resources Inventory have been sent to HDC Chairperson Macro.
ADJOURNMENT
Commissioner FitzPatrick moved to adjourn the meeting at 9:25 pm; seconded by Commissioner Pitcock. The motion carried unanimously.
