CALL MEETING TO ORDER

Chairperson Macro called the meeting to order at 7:58 p.m.

Members present:        Chairperson Macro, Commissioner Fitzpatrick, Commissioner Pitcock and Commissioner Burnham

Members absent: Commissioner Futtner

Alternate present:      Commissioner Oates

Alternates absent:      Commissioner Klein and Commissioner Jennings
        

3.      PUBLIC PARTICIPATION

        None

4.      APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING

Motion to:      approve the minutes of April 4, 2006

Was made by Commissioner Pitcock
Seconded by Commissioner Burnham
The motion passed unanimously

NEW BUSINESS

Motion to:      approve the Certificate of Appropriateness for the Cohn pool, as described in the application with the provision that the color be neutral/white and plantings surround the pool, as requested, to obscure the view from Ferry Lane.

Seconded by Commissioner Fitzptrick
The motion passed unanimously

OLD BUSINESS

Chairperson Macro reported that eight properties from North King Street would be deleted and eight properties from the threatened properties list would be substituted to the Historic Resources Survey being prepared by the State Historic Commission.

Chairperson Macro requested from the Commission members any additional information to the draft of the Historic Context Essay for the Historic Resources Survey.
