CALL MEETING TO ORDER

Chairperson Macro called the meeting to order.

2.      ROLL CALL

Members present:        Chairperson Macro, Commissioner Tarr, Commissioner Pitcock, and Commissioner Fitzpatrick

Members absent: None

Alternates present:     Commissioner Klein

Alternates absent:      Commissioner Jennings, Commissioner Futtner

3.      PUBLIC PARTICIPATION

Mr. Louis DiModugno of 1675 Main Street.  

4.      APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING

Motion to approve the minutes of January 4, 2005

Seconded by Commissioner Klein
The motion carried unanimously

NEW BUSINESS

Commissioner Klein is appointed as a regular member for absent member Dr. Bruce Burnham.

OLD BUSINESS

a.)     Mr. Louis DiModugno presented three versions of the revision of the  South elevation for modifications to 1675 Main Street.  Changes include revised windows, which are similar in configuration and revised doors on the rear portion of the house.  The three versions vary treatment of columns on the forward (sunroom) portion of the house.

Motion to: approve the plans submitted by Mr. DiModugno as Version 1, dated January 25, 2005. However, the Historic District Commission prefers that the second story half window be changed to match the size and style of the other six, including the two on the front portion of the house.  The Historic District Commission also requests final details as requested in the letter dated November 19, 2004* made by Commissioner Fitzptrick, seconded by Commissioner Klein.  Approved unanimously.

        b).  The Commission reviewed the proposed Demolition Delay Ordinance and request
further details regarding the size criteria (a structure must be larger than 500 square feet to require an application for Demolition) and request that a sign be posted on any structure proposed for demolition with equivalent information to newspaper legal notice.
c.) The proposed Historic District Commission ordinance will be reviewed at the next meeting.    

7.      ADMINISTRATION

a).  The Historic District Commission announced a meeting with the Planning and Zoning Commission for March 22, 2005, the topics of discussion will be senior residence development and back lot development in the Historic District.

b).  Motion to elect Virginia Macro as Chairperson and Commissioner Fitzpatrick as Vice-Chairman and Secretary, made by Commissioner Pitcock. Seconded by Commissioner Klein. The motion carried unanimously.

8.      ADJOURNMENT

Motion to adjourn the meeting at 9:42 p.m.
