CALL MEETING TO ORDER
Chairperson Macro called the meeting to order at 7:45 p.m.

Members absent: Commissioner Burnham and Commissioner Fitzpatrick
Alternates present: Commissioner Jennings
Alternates absent: Commissioner Futtner and Commissioner Klein
Commissioner Jennings was appointed a voting member for Commissioner Burnham.

4. APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING
Motion to approve the minutes of June 7, 2005
Was made by Commissioner Pitcock
Seconded by Commissioner Jennings
The motion carried unanimously
NEW BUSINESS
Chairperson Macro reported on a call from a contractor regarding installation of vinyl windows within the Historic District. In the discussion that followed it was felt that it was best to make replacements with the original materials, i.e. wood for wood.
Commissioner Jennings made an informational presentation of plans for a garage dormer and storage shed: He will make a formal presentation at our September meeting
OLD BUSINESS
Motion to approve Bellizzi seven driveway lights (request of January 13, 2004) was made by Commissioner Tarr. Seconded by Commissioner Jennings. The Certificate of Appropriateness will stipulate that only two 60 watt bulbs with candelabra base can be used in the Quoizel model NY 9042K lights.
The motion carried unanimously.
Chairperson Macro read a letter from Ms. Candice Ryan, which gave the specifications of the privacy fence installed along the back property line of her home, as being cedar stockade fence of 6 and 8 foot heights. She also said she had had a long conversation with the previous chair, Kathy Brady, regarding the fence. The Commission approved a Certificate of Appropriateness for the fence pending the submission of photographs for our records. Motion made by Commissioner Pitcock, seconded by Commissioner Jennings and carried unanimously.
ADMINISTRATION
Chairperson Macro has asked Attorney Barry Guliano to look over the new proposed guidelines and report back to the Commission. He was scheduled to attend this evenings meeting but because of the holiday had a conflict with the Town Council meeting.
