DEMOLITION DELAY COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES
March 5, 2015
1.~~~~ Call Meeting to Order:
Chairperson Art Utay called the Demolition Delay Committee meeting to order at 7:31pm.
2.~~~~~Roll Call:
- Members present: Wayne McKinney, Virginia Macro. Art Utay, Viney Wilson and Walter FitzPatrick.
- Members absent: None.
3.~~~~ Outside Participation:
- Peter DeMallie, Design Professionals
4.~~~~ Approval of Minutes:
- Motion by was made member Viney Wilson, seconded by member Wayne McKinney, to approve the minutes of the regular meeting held on February 5, 2015. The motion carried unanimously.

- After reviewed the Public Hearing for demolition of house and two barns at 135 Sullivan Avenue, Chairman Utay to obtain clarification regarding the disqualification of member Walter FitzPatrick. The next meeting should include a review of the DDC by-laws, to determine if any changes are required for the Public Hearing process. A concern was raised that there are no appeal provisions in either the delay ordinance or the by-laws.
- Chairperson Art Utay announced that, by direction of the Town Attorney and Town Planner, we are not allowed to discuss the second agenda item, since the Public Hearing is closed.
7.~~~~ Administration
- Chairman Utay reported that the sign notifying the intent of demolition, posted at 135 Sullivan Ave. has been damaged and needs to be replaced.
8.~~~~ Adjournment
- Member Viney Wilson moved to adjourn at 8:48pm. Second by member Walter FitzPatrick. The motion carried unanimously.
