DEMOLITION DELAY COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES
June 4, 2014
1.~~~~ Call Meeting to Order:
The Demolition Delay Committee meeting was called to order by Chairperson Art Utay at 7:32 pm.
2.~~~~~Roll Call:
- Members present: Art Utay, Wayne McKinney, and Walter FitzPatrick.
- Members absent: Virginia Macro, Viney Wilson (resigned).
3.~~~~ Public Participation:
4.~~~~ Approval of Minutes:
- Motion by member McKinney, seconded by member Utay, was made to approve the minutes of the regular meeting held on May 1, 2014. The motion carried unanimously.
5.~~~~ Old Business:
- Chairperson Utay reported no further discussions on the Demolition Delay process review of other towns. This activity is postponed, temporarily.
6.~~~~ New Business:
- No permit applications reported by the Building Department.
- A letter was sent to the Planning and Zoning Committee requesting a replacement for Viney Wilson who has resigned.
- Chairperson Utay reported being contacted that the Vibert House, 808 Main St., plans a roof repair of the front portico, which is not considered a demolition.
7.~~~~ Administration
- The next regular Demolition Delay Committee meeting will be July 3, 2014, at 7:30 PM.
8.~~~~ Adjournment
- Member Fitzpatrick moved to adjourn at 7:50 pm. Second by member McKinney. The motion carried unanimously.
