Minutes Caucus Room
1. Call Meeting to Order:
• Chairperson FitzPatrick called the meeting to order at 7:35 PM.
2. Roll Call:
• Members present: Art Utay, Viney Wilson, Walt FitzPatrick.
• Members absent: Wayne McKinney, Peter Jennings.
3. Public Participation:
• Mr. Greg Farmer, CT Trust
• Ms. Virginia Macro, Chair Historic District Commission, observer.
4. Approval of Minutes:
• Motion by member Wilson, seconded by member Utay, was made to approve the minutes of the regular meeting held on April 11, 2013. The motion carried unanimously.
5. Old Business:
• CT Trust, Mr. Greg Farmer, offered to list the 1146 Main St. property in the Newsletter, and have an architect evaluate the necessary repairs. This would be without cost to the applicant. Chairperson FitzPatrick would contact the Kasheta’s regarding our plans and ask that they permit access.
• Member Art Utay distributed a Demolition Permit application package and will update the Timeline.pdf for review with the Building Official.
• By-laws for Demolition Delay Committee were discussed. A change defining two officers (Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson/Clerk) will be made and bylaws submitted for approval.
6. New Business:
• It was agreed to contact S.W. IT department to start discussions on a web site.
7. Administration
• The DDC regular monthly meeting schedule was adopted; with a change of the July meeting to July 11 and elimination of an August meeting.
8. Adjournment
• Member Wilson moved to adjourn the meeting at 9:24 PM; seconded by member Utay. The motion carried unanimously.
