DEMOLITION DELAY COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES
November 7, 2013
1.~~~~ Call Meeting to Order:
The Demolition Delay Committee meeting was called to order by Chair Art Utay at 7:36 pm.
2.~~~~~Roll Call:
- Members present: Art Utay, Virginia Macro, Walter FitzPatrick, Viney Wilson(part time) and Wayne McKinney
- Members absent: none
3.~~~~ Public Participation:
4.~~~~ Approval of Minutes:
- Motion by member FitzPatrick, seconded by member McKinney, was made to approve the minutes of the regular meeting held on October 3, 2013. The motion carried unanimously.
5.~~~~ Old Business:
Status of 1146 Main Street – There is no new information whether an interested party has made an offer on the property. Art will contact the owners regarding photographic and internal measurement documentation.
Status of 1049 John Fitch Blvd. – Dismantling of the front of the barn has commenced. It’s understood that it will be reinstalled as the front of the attached rear barn.
Status of 1468 Sullivan Avenue - Based on a discussion between Art and John Mitchell, Mr. Steve Bielitz of Glastonbury Restoration has culled some of the floor boards and doors. Measurements of the interior have been taken. The structure is ready to be demolished. Art will photo document the exterior when the overgrown shrubbery in the front of the house has been removed. Art will remind the owner to please move forward with the cleaning up and removing this shrubbery to be able to photograph the property.

- The next regular Demolition Delay Committee meeting will be December 5, 2013.

- Member Fitzpatrick moved to adjourn at 8:10 pm. Second by member McKinney. The motion carried unanimously.
