7. Adoption of Minutes of Previous Meetings

BE IT RESOLVED that the South Windsor Town Council approves the Minutes of the following Town Council Meetings: Work Session Minutes of October 7, 2013; Special Meeting Minutes of October 15, 2013; and Regular Meeting Minutes of October 7, 2013.

A. Resolution Authorizing the Town Manager to Refer Proposed Acquisition of Property Identified as 491 King Street, South Windsor, Connecticut to the South Windsor Planning & Zoning Commission

WHEREAS, according to State Statute 8-24, the acquisition of property is to be referred to South Windsor’s Planning & Zoning Commission prior to the execution of an agreement
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the South Windsor Town Council hereby authorizes Town Manager, Matthew B. Galligan to refer the purchase of 491 King Street, South Windsor, Connecticut to the Planning & Zoning Commission pursuant to Section 8-24 of the Connecticut General Statutes.
B. Resolution Setting a Time and Place for a Public Hearing to Receive Citizen Input on an Amendment to an Ordinance Authorizing the Acquisition of Open Space

BE IT RESOLVED that the South Windsor Town Council hereby sets Monday, November 18, 2013, at 7:15 p.m., in the Council Chambers of the South Windsor Town Hall, 1540 Sullivan Avenue, South Windsor, Connecticut as the time and place for a Public Hearing to receive citizen input on an Amendment to an Ordinance Authorizing the Acquisition of Open Space, a copy of which is on file in the Office of the Town Clerk.

BE IT RESOLVED that the South Windsor Town Council hereby approves a refund of property taxes to twelve (12) South Windsor Taxpayers, the total of said refund being $3,831.42, and as more fully described on attached Exhibit A.

BE IT RESOLVED that the South Windsor Town Council hereby adopts an Ordinance Authorizing the Acquisition of Open Space, as shown in attached, Exhibit B, a copy of which is on file in the Office of the Town Clerk.
