TOWN COUNCIL – Special Meeting

1. Call Meeting to Order
Mayor Anwar called the Special Meeting to order at 5:00 p.m.
2. Roll Call
Members Present: Mayor M. Saud Anwar
Deputy Mayor Edward Havens
Councilor Thomas Delnicki (arrived at 5:06 p.m.)
Councilor Carolyn Mirek
Councilor Liz Pendleton
Councilor Cary Prague
Councilor Janice Snyder
Councilor Stephen Wagner
Councilor Keith Yagaloff
Also Present: Matthew B. Galligan, Town Manager
3. Executive Session
At 5:03 p.m. Councilor Pendleton made a motion to go into Executive Session to discuss personnel issues (Town Manger’s evaluation, Clerk of the Council’s evaluation and Town Attorney search); and strategy and negotiations with respect to pending claims or pending litigation (4 items). Mayor Anwar seconded the motion; and it was approved, unanimously.
The following individuals were invited into Executive Session: Mayor Anwar, Deputy Mayor Edward Havens, Councilor Delnicki, Councilor Mirek, Councilor Pendleton, Councilor Prague, Councilor Snyder, Councilor Wagner, Councilor Yagaloff, Town Manager Matthew Galligan and Deborah Reid, Clerk of the Council.
At 7:00 p.m. the Executive Session was recessed in order to go into the Regular Meeting. The Executive Session reconvened at 7:22 p.m.
At 8:11 p.m. Councilor Wagner made a motion to adjourn the Executive Session. Councilor Pendleton seconded the motion; and it was approved, unanimously.
4. Adjournment
At 8:11 p.m. Councilor Wagner made a motion to adjourn the Special Meeting. Councilor Pendleton seconded the motion; and it was approved, unanimously.
