PUBLIC HEARING MINUTES
February 21, 2012
7:30 p.m.
South Windsor Council Chambers
PURPOSE: To receive citizen input on an amendment to Article II, Section 74-31 of the South Windsor Code of Ordinances – Established; terms of the Park & Recreation Commission
Mayor Delnicki called the Public Hearing to order at 7:18 p.m.; and requested that the Clerk of the Council read the call of the meeting (a copy of which is attached hereto). There were approximately ten (10) people present in the audience.
The Mayor asked if there was anyone in the audience who wished to address this.
Mr. Alan Larson, Chairperson of the Park & Recreation Commission came forward and thanked Deputy Mayor Bazzano who is the liaison to the Park & Recreation Commission for coming up with a plan to increase the number of representatives on the Commission. This will allow current members of the Commission to remain on the Commission and will add an additional member. Mr. Larson stated he is hopeful that the Council will vote favorably on this issue.
As is the custom, the Mayor asked for a show of hands for a straw vote on the proposal. The results were as follows:

All those opposed of the amending Article II, Section 74-31 of the south Windsor Code of Ordinances: - 0
The Public Hearing was closed at 7:21 p.m.
