PUBLIC HEARING MINUTES
January 17, 2012
7:15 p.m.
South Windsor Council Chambers
PURPOSE: To receive citizen input on the Amendment to Ordinance #192 – Patriotic Commission
Mayor Delnicki called the Public Hearing to order at 7:15 p.m.; and requested that the Clerk of the Council read the call of the meeting (a copy of which is attached hereto). There were approximately twenty (20) people present in the audience.
Mr. Herbert Asplund, 56 Tumblebrook Drive came forward to speak in favor of the Council approving the terms of all 10 members to be December 31st.
Mr. James Throwe, 1330 Main Street came forward and stated that he concurs with all of Mr. Asplund’s remarks.
Following comments by the public, Mayor Delnicki called for a Straw Vote, the results of which were as follows:
Those in favor to an Amendment to Ordinance #192 – Patriotic Commission: - 12
Those opposed to an Amendment to Ordinance #192 – Patriotic Commission: - 0
The public hearing was closed at 7:20 p.m.
