WORK SESSION MINUTES
TOWN COUNCIL MONDAY, FEBRUARY 22, 2011
COUNCIL CHAMBERS TIME: 7:00 P.M.
1. Call Meeting to Order
Mayor Pelkey called the meeting to order at 7:02 p.m.

Councillor Kevin McCann (arrived at 7:04 p.m.)

Also Present: Chief Matthew Reed, Acting Town Manager

3. Public Participation
Lieutenant Bond came before the Town Council to explain that there was a situation on Sullivan Avenue where one of the lanes was covered by snow. The State Department of Transportation was informed of this situation numerous times, but never responded to the problem. Mr. Reichle from Public Works was contacted regarding this situation and immediately offered assistance. The Public Works crew completed the task the same day of uncovering the lane from snow. Lieutenant Bond thanked Mr. Caldwell and Mr. Reichle for their assistance in resolving this matter quickly.
7. Executive Session
At 7:07 p.m. Councillor Prague made a motion to go into Executive Session to discuss a draft contract with the Ambulance Corp. Councillor Delnicki seconded the motion; and it was approved, unanimously.

The following individuals went into Executive Session or were invited into Executive Session during certain parts of the discussion: Mayor Pelkey, Deputy Mayor Havens, Councillor Bazzano, Councillor Delnicki, Councillor Favreau, Councillor Prague, Councillor McCann, Councillor Yagaloff, Acting Town Manager Matthew Reed, Dr. Saud Anwar, Larry Gormen, Attorney Allison Bloom, and Bob Ignani who is a Certified Public Accountant.
At 7:15 p.m. the Executive Session and Work Session were recessed in order to hold a Public Hearing.
The Work Session reconvened at 7:28 p.m. and the Council members went back into Executive Session.
At 7:58 p.m. Councillor McCann adjourned the Executive Session and the Work Session. Councillor Prague seconded the motion; and it was approved, unanimously.
