PUBLIC HEARING MINUTES
March 1, 2010
7:15 p.m.
South Windsor Council Chambers
PURPOSE: To receive citizen input on a proposed “Ordinance Adopting Special Events and Water Supplies and Hydrants
Mayor Pelkey called the Public Hearing to order at 7:15 p.m.; and requested that the Clerk of the Council read the call of the meeting (a copy of which is attached hereto). There were approximately nine (9) people present in the audience.
Mayor Pelkey asked if there was anyone from the public that would like to speak, there was none.
Mr. Walter Summers, Fire Marshal explained to the Town Council that changes have been made to the previous draft and it was decided to move this to Chapter 10.
As is the custom, the Mayor asked for a show of hands for a straw vote on the proposal. The results were as follows:
Those in favor of the Town Council Adopting an Ordinance Adopting Special Events and Water Supplies and Hydrants: - 0
Those in opposition of the Town Council Adopting an Ordinance Adopting Special Events and Water Supplies and Hydrants: - 0
The public hearing was closed at 7:20 p.m.
