3. Public Participation
Attorney Wayne Gerlt, 112 Deming Street came before the Town Council explaining that he is there to represent a client who is concerned about the purchase of 765 Sullivan Avenue. It is felt that the original site, 625 Sullivan Avenue should be reconsidered. The sole remaining detail left is to relocate the endangered species. Attorney Gerlt stated that his client believes the town did not receive an independent appraisal for this property, the course the town is presently going spends more than the referendum allows, and if the town builds on 765 Sullivan Avenue there will be three parcels the town will have to dispose of and the town is not in the real estate business.
