PUBLIC HEARING MINUTES

November 21, 2005
7:30 p.m.

SOUTH WINDSOR COUNCIL CHAMBERS


PURPOSE:  To receive citizen input on a proposed Amendment to Ordinance #172, an Ordinance Prohibiting Tractor-Trailer Truck Traffic on Beldon Road and Portions of Governor’s Highway in the Town of South Windsor



Mayor Streeter called the Public Hearing at 7:30 p.m.; and requested that the Clerk of the Council read the call of the meeting (a copy of which is attached hereto).  There were approximately five (5) people present in audience.

The Mayor asked if there was anyone in the audience who wished to address this proposed amendment.  There were none.

As is the custom, the Mayor asked for a show of hands for a straw vote on the proposal.  The results were as follows:

        All those in favor of the proposed amendment
           To Ordinance #172                                    -  0

        All those opposed to the proposed amendment
           To ordinance #172                                    -  0

The Public Hearing was closed at 7:35 p.m.
