TOWN OF SAUGUS


Essex, ss.
To the Constable of the Town of Saugus
Greetings:

In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts you are hereby required to notify and warn the inhabitants of the Town of Saugus, qualified to vote in Town affairs for the Special Town Meeting at the Saugus Town Hall located at 298 Central Street on June 11, 2007 at 7:30 PM to hear and act on the following articles: viz;

Article 1.   To hear and act on reports of Committees.

Article 2.   To see if the Town will vote to increase water rates with all receipts to be held within the Water Enterprise Fund to be used exclusively for water expenses, water maintenance, and water improvement programs, or take any other action relating thereto.  (Town Manager)

Article 3.   To see if the Saugus Town Meeting will vote to petition the legislature to seek a Special Act allowing the Town of Saugus to join the Group Insurance Commission for employees and retirees beginning Fiscal Year 2008.  (Town Manager)

Article 4.   To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate a sum of money to have a Certified Public Accounting firm conduct a directional, operational and financial audit of the Landfill Revolving account and or Enterprise Fund for fiscal years 2002 through 2007, said funds shall be made available from the residual amount currently remaining in the Landfill Enterprise account or take any other action relative thereto.  (Selectmen Stephen Horlick)

Article 5.   To  see if the Town will vote to name the public safety building, 27 Hamilton Street, “The Edward J. Collins, Jr. Public Safety Building”.  (Board of Selectmen)
